Maslenica hat viele Ferienhäuser und schöne Strände. Gute Hausmannskost (Käse, Räucherschinken) sowie Fische und Muscheln aus dem Novigrader Meer sind Teil des touristischen Angebots. Der Weiler eignet sich gut für einen Familienurlaub. Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge an die Zrmanja, die in der Nähe aus ihrem steilwandigen Flußtal ins Meer mündet. MASLENICA, Weiler der Ortschaft Jasenice und Bucht am Eingang der Meerenge Novsko Zdrilo, die das sog. Novigrader Meer (Novigradsko more) mit dem Veslebit-Kanal verbindet. Der Weiler liegt am Fuße eines steilen Kalkfelsens und ist dadurch vor dem häufigen und starken Borawind einigermaßen gut geschützt. Westlich von Maslenica wurde über der schmalen Meerenge Novsko Zdrilo (200 m) eine neue große Brücke gebaut (Länge 378 m, Höhe 90 m).

Maslenica, a hamlet of the village of Jasenice and a cove at the entrance into the strait of Novsko Zdrilo, connecting the so-called Novigrad Sea with the Velebit Channel; situated below a limestone slope and thus partly protected from frequent attacks of the very strong bora. West of Maslenica, a new, huge bridge (length 378 m, height 90 m above sea level) was constructed over the strait of Novsko Zdrilo (only 200 m wide). Maslenica lies on the main road (M2, E65). Maslenica, a coastal hamlet with a number of weekend houses, has nice beaches. Major attractions include home-made food (cheese, prosciutto) and fresh fish and shellfish from the Novigrad Sea. Maslenica is also the starting point of tours toward the canyon and mouth of the Zrmanja river.

Four national parks and two nature parks of unique beauty surround Maslenica.The indentedness of the islands and the exquisite beauty make the Kornati Islands an ideal place and an attraction for boaters and excursionists. The beauty river Krka offers a special experience of bathing below the waterfalls. The cliffs of Paklenica offer an alpinism adventure, and the lakes called Plitvicka jezera an incredible experience of the beauty of mountain waters and forests. By the richness of flora and fauna, parks of nature of Telašccica and Vransko jezero draw irresistibly numerous visitors and anglers. The nearby historical towns of Zadar and Šibenik offer an interesting insight in the rich Croatian cultural heritage to visitors.
